Pasco Beaches

Fun on and off the water for the whole family!

SunWest Park is a nearly two year old recreational waterfront facility in northwest Pasco, just off of Hwy 19. The park has been developed around a former limestone mine, known locally as “SunWest Mines”. Gracing the shores of the 70 acre spring-fed lake you will find beautiful white sand that creates an unparalleled beach atmosphere.

With the gorgeous, natural setting, relaxing in the sun comes easy! For those who also want to participate in activities, we offer a variety of amenities. For the explorer, we offer kayaking and paddleboarding. Participants can paddle around anywhere on the lake, checking out some of the unique marine life. The Aqua Park is also a huge hit and a fun challenge. This inflatable obstacle course on the water was easily the most popular attraction at SunWest this summer.  We are in the midst of development for the Full Size Cable. With plans to be a premier wakeboard facility, what we currently offer is just the beginning. Join us for a day of fun in the sun with the whole family!

Sunwest Park located at 17362 Old Dixie Hwy, Hudson, FL 34667

Hillsborough Beaches

Egmont Key is in Hillsborough County in a narrow strip that extends along the Tampa Port Shipping Channel. It lies southwest of Fort De Soto Park and can only be reached by boat or ferry. Even though it is a Hillsborough County beach, access by ferry is from Fort De Soto Park in Pinellas County unless you have your own boat. The Egmont Key Lighthouse and the ruins of Fort Dade, a Spanish–American War era fort, are located in the park. Enjoy sunbathing, swimming, shelling, boating, picnicking, snorkeling, take a tour of the fort, and partake in wildlife viewing. Picnic tables are available, but you will not find food, water or restrooms at this remote park.

Egmont Key was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places on December 11, 1978.
