This five-year-old chocolate Yorkie diva (shhh…she thinks she’s three), and her equally beautiful sister, Morgan (who is actually three), love the attention they receive, and they certainly understand their role in life: to make people happy!

“I call Mocha my heartstring dog,” said owner Bev Miller. “All she wants to do is please people. She loves attention and loves to entertain. When we were asked to have her in The Wizard of Oz, I wasn’t sure she could do it, but she sure showed me. She was handled by 13 different people in every show, and she was awesome! Now her favorite thing to do is tricks, and I love to see the people’s faces light up when we do a trick show, and she drives into nursing homes in her little red car.”mocha driving

Morgan is full of energy and loves to entertain, in spite of having had her hip removed on her first birthday due to a genetic disorder. After months of therapy, she was running, jumping and playing like a puppy again. Bev shares Morgan’s story of recovery with people in rehab, as encouragement to them, as “it all pays off in the end!”

Mocha and Morgan are both certified with Bright & Beautiful Therapy Dogs, and they along with their very talented friends, Emma, Riley, Mac, Gabriella, Jubilee and Coco, comprise “Tailgating Tricksters,” who get together every week with their humans to learn new tricks.

They also participate in a children’s reading program at Regency Park Library, on Thursday afternoons from 4:30 to 5:30.Child reading to Mocha at Library

“We volunteer all our time and love to help out wherever we can. Mocha and Morgan love doing tricks and love the applause even more,” Bev admitted.morgan playing basketball

Aside from all of their public appearances, Mocha and Morgan work diligently as mascots at Minuteman Press every day.

Bev said, “They love to greet the customers, and the customers love seeing them. They dress-up every day for work, and some people stop by just to see what the dogs are wearing or to get a little puppy love.”

Mocha and Morgan keep their beautiful, youthful looks thanks to the grooming talent of Jesse Rose at Sit, Stay, Play, and they maintain a healthy diet of chicken, rice, peas and carrots, lovingly prepared by their aunt, Bonnie.

Mocha and Morgan have three step-sisters at home: Maggie, Molly and Maisy. Bev calls them her favorite “M&M’s!”
